We aim to help create wellness, balance, provide and inspire hope, and empower individuals, couples and families by providing new, integrative and traditional mental health and addiction services. Working with you as professionals we will guide, motivate, coach and inspire you to take a stand and make productive decisions in your life. There is no magic wand or simple answer to the complex situations that confront people. However, there are skills, techniques, strategies and supports that can be used as a “toolbox” for handling not only life’s crisis moments, but for improving and enriching day to day life.
Our services include assessments, professional counseling, links to groups & workshops, integrative and medication management as well as other resources that offer support, guidance, and encouragement. We are professional and experienced service providers that work toward the goal of achieving wellness and recovery for those we serve. We offer different skill sets and approaches to suite your needs.

Ed King, LCSW
Since graduating with my Master of Social Work Degree in 1996, I have worked in a variety of settings from Skilled Nursing Homes to Juvenile Detention Centers. I was initially trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and also spent time working with a Psychoanalyst in Baltimore, Maryland.
I now believe that Trauma is a major factor in Mental Health Treatment. Trauma (and the resulting emotional/psychological impacts it can have) is the main issue for most of the people seeking treatment, even if the person does not realize that Trauma is the cause of their symptoms.
The good news is that with therapy, we can very often resolve trauma and alleviate the impact it has on people.
Lauren Silver, LMHC
I am a licensed mental health counselor and originally studied in New York state and graduated with a Master of Science in mental health counseling in 2012. I received graduate and post graduate experience in community mental health centers, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, psychiatric units and private practice.
I work with individual adults and specialize in mood disorders, anxiety and narcissistic abuse as well as working with a variety of other issues such as grief, women's issues, caretaker issues, and overall wellness. I use a psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approach as well as person centered, solution focused and cognitive behavioral techniques.
I am currently receiving training with Integrative Psychiatry Institute as a Psychedelic Assisted Therapist. I will be looking to integrate Ketamine Assisted Therapy early 2027 through new and ongoing partnerships. KAP is not for everyone yet can aid in removing blocks to our self -growth. and assist in accessing the subconscious to promote intuitive healing.
I greatly look forward to helping you find your balance!
Michael Thompson, DMS, PA-CA
A doctoral-prepared physician assistant with over a decade of experience across internal medicine, addiction medicine, correctional health, and behavioral care.
At Spruce Creek Wellness, he practices integrative psychiatric care: thoughtful medication management paired with a genuine commitment to the lifestyle and biological factors that drive mental health. That means exploring how sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and connection shape mood and resilience — not just writing a prescription and moving on.
His approach is rooted in current neuroscience, but his care is personal. Every patient deserves to be seen as a whole person — not a diagnosis.
